For years I kept a little Victorinox Swiss Army knife (Classic SD) on my keychain - blade, nail file, scissors, toothpick, and tweezers. Pretty handy to always have that available for the little odd task.

I have a Leatherman Super Tool that I carry on my belt when I know I'm liable to need it - out camping, working on things, etc. But it is a bit large to cart around on a daily basis. Yet there were times that I wished I had more than the little Victorinox.

When I first saw the Leatherman Squirt, I knew I was going to buy one. All the benefits of a multi-tool combined with a size that meant that I'd always have it with me. For me, the ES4 - the electrician's version with wire strippers - seemed the best fit. It offers everything the PS4 with just standard pliers does, but supplies the useful electrical tools in place of just standard pliers. For me, the end of the strippers is still enough pliers for most tasks and the slightly larger pliers of the PS4 really aren't that much bigger to offer much advantage. However, if you never find a need to strip wire, you may want to stick with the PS4. The S4 with only scissors instead of pliers didn't seem as useful. There are a number of times a small pair of pliers have come in handy for me. And the PS4 and ES4 both have a small scissors similar to the Victorinox.

A great little tool for yourself or for a gift for any handyperson you may have in your life.

AS I'm the owner of 4 or 5 of the previous model (I've unfortunately lost all of them), and after reading many reviews of people that were deceived by this new model, I bought this one with a little fear on my mind. I'm always carrying one in my pockets and I.m using it several times a day. The skinners are working very well and they last. You can skin, and skin, and skin and they still work well. But... I'm deceived that the little REAL philips screwdriver is not there anymore (it was working absolutely well) and less but also with the little flat screwdriver (tweeker we usually call it). But, I'm amazingly surprised about the scissors. They work very well and I've used them a few times. But.... I'm still looking for the 4 older units I've lost.... Specially for those 2 little screwdrivers. Little note, I had to "punch" the main rivet as the skinner was a bit loose...

I used mine daily and finally it came up missing, so went looking for a replacement here since Radio Shack quit carrying them.... this is a nice little stripper when you need one quickly, going down to very small gage wire. I stripped some cat5 in a pinch with it for a little demo, though I think it is really meant for down to 18 Ga only, where it works fine. Not my day to day wire strippers as an electrician but great for the one off project here and there in the lab. little phillips came in handy many times. My only knock is that I don't like the way the blade cuts since it is ground on only one side. makes it cut crooked lines but it is fine for packing tape and such which was the day to day need anyway. overall great quality and lasted a long time for me.

I was very impressed with the appearance, feel and how easy it was to get a good edge on the blade. I had put the sheathed knife on a belt to carry it with me on my daily walk out in the woods when I noticed that the blade had cut through the bottom of the sheath and about an inch of it was sticking out... The sheath is crappy and isn't properly made for this type of blade design but for something much lighter in weight with a drop point. It was a struggle just to snap the handle retaining strap in place because it is too short to fit around the handle... I would give it 5 stars+ if it had a sheath as nice as it deserves.

It's large and feels great in your hand and this is coming from a 6'5 man with rather large hands. The blade is made of thick stock and the handle is real wood, this is a deal that shouldn't be missed.

This replacement cover is nice. It is not the best but it does the job to cover you snoogle. It is not the softest thing in the world but it has gotten softer the more we wash it. Pros:
-Probably the most attractive Drew shoe
-Good fit (adjustable depth after all)

Cons:
-Not as comfortable as they should be for the price/brand
-Not enough padding

Conclusions:
My feet are so hard to find something that fits well for some reason. I have a particularly wide foot that is sensitive at the top so finding a shoe like this that is both adequately wide, deep, -and- stylish is often very difficult. I like the shoe overall, but it really falls short of the comfort I was looking for. The ankle support tends to dig into you more than it supports and the leather support on the heel has a seam that can also rub against you unpleasantly. The width of the ankle is also much wider than I thought, and so my heel tends to slip despite the general good fit of the shoe. Even with my orthotics, I feel the shoe could use a little more padding in the sole and the ankle.

Very pleased with the product performance, low/no noise, better than average brake dust, and typical stopping power.

However, the shipping packers at Amazon warehouses need some lessons in QA. The initial shipment was nicely packed in a standard Amazon cardboard box with air pillow packing filler...but the brake pads themselves were in a completely ripped in half box, with a large rubber band holding it together. Furthermore the brake pads themselves had clearly been installed on a car previously and covered in break dust.

But...then the return process was seamless. I had the replacement pads overnighted for free and in my hands for installation the day after I came home to the original shipment. So kudos for making up for the up front issues.

I just requested a return of this item. I could not assemble it as manufactured. The instructions call for screwing together a few pieces then inserting side panels in provided slots. However, the slots to not line up properly and the side panels cannot be inserted. I could probably drill new holes and get it assembled, but these kinds of defects are inexcusable.

In addition, the unit as a whole seems to be very cheaply built.

This is an inexpensive stand. I paid about $85, including free 2-day Amazon Prime shipping. It has the problems other reviewers have noted: scratches and uneven finish; hard to assemble because pieces do not line up. But I'm satisfied with the purchase because I needed something cheap (temporary use) delivered to my door. I have a turntable on top, which takes up about 2/3 of the width leaving room for other stuff. I put a receiver in the middle shelf. The receiver is 15" deep and 5.25" high. The shelf is only 13" deep. Perfect solution: the back panel is so flimsy that I could easily remove it. (The back panel for the bottom shelf is separate so it is still intact.) The receiver fits perfectly now, with just enough clearance for ventilation. (A tall AV receiver may not fit.) And with the back of the receiver exposed, connecting cables is a cinch. The lower shelf with the fold-down door is small; just put some CD's and accessories in there.

This may be a little longer, but I think this deserves a more serious treatment. TSP or Trisodium Phosphate is a strong cleaner, and does an amazing job, but you must be cognizant of what it is you are using.

**This is a strong base and must 1) be diluted appropriately to the job at hand 2) be worn with eye and hand protection 3) be aware of what is around your work area, as this will splash and ruin things if you are inattentive**

**As this is a solid before you diluted it with water, you will likely need to rinse whatever you were cleaning off after you clean it. This means some jobs are not ideal for it**

That being said, here are some uses that are the best I have found so far:

Whitening whites - 1 cup bleach, 1/4 cup tsp per gallon of hot water - the bleach cleans, and the tsp breaks up the underarm d.o. stains amazingly. soak and agitate in a 5 gal bucket then soak for an hour or two, wash normally.

washing walls - I read this one online, but 1/4 cup tsp per gallon hot water makes walls look new, cleans doors, etc. Should add ammonia if you are cleaning grease.

TSP is also great for degreasing tools, or anything else that is oily. Just remember to rinse it after and dry thoroughly.

TSP + bleach in a bucket will scrub bathroom floors / grout back to white. But make sure to clean up the bathroom first as pee + bleach creates chlorazine, which will ruin your day / kill you depending on how bad of aim you have on the floor.

This container will probably last you several years for household use. For that reason I highly suggest getting a tupperware or other airtight container for it. The cardboard box is an invitation for moisture. And I really hate the word moisture, and moist.

Very happy with the fact that it is, in fact, TSP. Locally there is a product called TSP. But on the label it states " does not contain Trisodium phsphate " DUHH?


Savogran 10622 Review by Grandma

This is the ingredient that was taken out of dishwasher detergent. I use a teaspoon full in the pre-wash and two teaspoons in the main wash. We have real hard water here so when they took this out of all the dish washing products it was horrible. Your going to like how well your dishwasher will work.

Being fairly new to photography I am learning there are never enough, or the right, camera bags.

I have a Lowepro backpack with the laptop sleeve. It is very nice but not particularly useful for much other than transporting your stuff from one place to the next. Therefore I started the search for a more useable bag.

Two trips to the local (i.e. overpriced) camera shop and I picked the Tenba. Was not too big nor too small. I have a Canon T1, two lenses, extra batteries, and the normal misc stuff. There is plenty of room left in the bag with all of this stuff. My 13" MacBook Pro fits in snugly in the laptop area with a Speck cover on, without the cover it fits perfectly. My goal for this bag was to use it with the camera and iPad, but be able to stuff the laptop in when needed. Having the macbook fit so well was great.

Took the bag to Disneyland and a birthday party over the weekend. Plenty of room for a couple of diapers and a few extra small items along with the camera. Easy to carry around, easy access to the camera via the top zipper, and it looks like a regular messenger bag rather than a camera bag. Much easier to use then the sling bag that I bought and returned immediately after our last trip to Disneyland. The messenger bag was easy to move around when carrying a small child, getting on and off rides, etc. The sling bag was awkward to move around and was in the way every time I sat down.

Quality is very good. Appearance is good. Has metal clips for the shoulder strap so you can replace it in the future if needed. Lots of pockets. Easy access zipper in the top is useful. Price is actually the same in the camera store and on Amazon (there goes my overpriced comment). No tax and free shipping made it an easy choice to buy from Amazon.

Highly recommend this bag if you want to be able to carry a small laptop and your camera equipment together. Easy to use when not carrying the laptop as well.

I like this bag minus a few caveats: It is really designed to hold 1 camera with lenses and accessories with a small laptop/netbook or iPad. I use this with 2 cameras and a flash and an iPad and it manages it well (one does have to flip the hand grips towards the center to fit 2 cameras).

The padding is nice. I can wear the bag and it doesn't cause any sorness to my hip. Its really soft and kinda feels like something's hugging you. The strap is good enough, but does make your shoulder sore (I wish it was a little wider) and the bag's fabric feels durable. The zippers are of quality and you can sense a secure, strong hold. The handle has foam and feels a little flimsy but its designed that if you didn't clip/velcro the top down your stuff shouldn't fall out unless it wasn't put in fully.

Cons: I find the two zippers on the front flap rather useless. Yes you get 2 more pockets but they're "flat" pockets so maybe you can put your receipts, a girl's phone number, or maybe some pocket change (but you're surely be digging to get it out. Many of the extra compartments I find rather useless as the bag is designed to be compact but full of compartments. Well those compartments are for flat items and one can store only so much. I like my memory cards in one small memory card wallet and so 1 pocket is good enough.

The "secret access" top zipper is nice when you dont want to open up the bag and cause a lot of noise. I would like to see velcro silencers similar to the ones on Crumpler bags instead of the extra compartments (especially the ones on the flap).

My main gripe (cause compartments can become useful... but they dont hinder my appreciation and kinda make the boring bag look more utilitarian) is that the fabric (I got black) attracts lint like crazy. The bag looks really dusty all the time and I wish I got the platinum bag cause at least the grey lint would be stuck on grey fabric (why is the platinum more expensive? beats me).

Excellent service. It was sent in the proposed time. The Peg-Perego Package was not strong enough, but the product survived. The stroller itself seems to be "very plastic". One plastic piece was not correctly assembled at the arrival, interfering the closing process. After checking and re-assembling it, everything worked properly.
In general terms, the stroller is a light, practical and nice option. Recommended.

The Plikos are my favorite. I have 4 kids and have pretty much see them all. The P3 folds small enough to fit in our Mazda 5 with all seats full. My 4 year old likes to ride on the back when we go to pick up the older kids from school. I hardly notice shes there. Its a better option than those wheeled boards which only get in the way of your feet. People complain about the basket...Ive never had problems with it. I can stuff in my purse and 1 of the kids backpacks with a couple water bottles....no problem. The lack of a parent tray is easily solved by getting a universal strap on one. I tried a few and the sunshine kids works great! The sun canopies are amazing and the only ones Ive come across that lower all the way to the snack tray when the seat is up. If the seat is reclined it doesnt go as far down. The other plus is the very long seats. Most come short and there heads end up going over the top by the time they are 1. These are long and make for a great spot to take a nap. All in all a great stroller. This is the actual color of the Marena. It is different from the pic. But nice none the less. I dont know why people say its flimsy. Its built differently so it can tri fold....but its very sturdy. Some complain its made of plastic...well the frame is not, the parts are...but arent they all

I planted 6 rose bushes (including one climber) last summer. One of them immediately started showing black spots and yellowing of leaves. Being a novice gardener I did not realize it was the black spot disease. This year after a wonderful bloom in early summer, I saw that the yellow leaves/ black spot had spread to 3 more of my bushes and by mid-june all four bushes shed all their leaves and this is when i tried to look up on the net and came to know of black spot and yes other wrong things done my end - not sunny location, bushes planted too close etc. After much search, I bought the Ortho product and sprayed my bushes every weekend. I also cleared all dead leaves, applied cornmeal on the soil, used rose fertilizer and must say now, after a month, my bushes have sprung back to life with beautiful blooms. Really like the ortho product. On the info side - this product does not seem to clear existing black spots on leaves. I pruned and removed all affected leaves and sprayed on the new growth and now they look BS free.
